Police Department — State Certification Achievement — Police Chief reported the Andalusia Police Department achieved new state police department certification, one of the first in Alabama. This is a new certification program recently developed, with the chief having been actively involved in the process. Mayor congratulated the chief and department on this “big step for our city and community.”
Library Programming — Librarian Sarah Mixon reported on new programs and activities coming online at the library, with Mayor encouraging community members to visit and explore new offerings.
